People
At rice, we believe business can - and should - be done with care. Social responsibility has been part of our DNA since 1998, and our commitment to people, local communities, and safe working conditions shapes everything we do.

from the heart
We make sure all our products are made under responsible conditions - with no child labor, full respect for human rights, and safe workplaces. All our suppliers must meet our ethical standards and sign our Supplier Commitment. It covers everything from wages and working hours to safety, equality, and open communication.
We audit our biggest suppliers every second year and use international tools like SA8000, Global Compact, and CSR Compass. Our approach is not about pointing fingers - it’s about supporting, improving, and building long-term relationships.
because they matter to us
Over the years, we have supported many initiatives that truly make a difference - especially for women and children in vulnerable situations. From building a school in Myanmar and supporting education in India, to donating clean water through UNICEF and bringing smiles to hospitalized children here in Denmark.
We work with respected organizations like UNICEF, the Red Cross, and the Danish Refugee Council because we believe even small actions can create big ripples. As we say at rice: “No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
Below, you can explore a selection of the social projects we’ve supported throughout the years.
