Paris has always held a special place in my heart. I lived here for almost 14 years when I was younger, and although we chose to move to Denmark with family, children, and rice, the City of Light has always remained close to my heart. 

In February, I returned. 

This time not as a tourist, but to live here for a while. To work, to live, and to let myself be inspired by the city in the way you only can when you don’t have to fit everything into just a few days. 

I’m staying in a classic Haussmann apartment in the 9th arrondissement, with high ceilings, large windows, and views across the rooftops of the city. Every morning, the view reminds me where I am. In the middle of Paris. In the middle of a city that holds something truly special.

Paris is not only beautiful. It has an atmosphere that slowly finds its way into you - naturally carried by the whispers of history, beautiful exhibitions, incredible architecture, charming cafés, the most amazing flower shops, old façades, and beautiful doors, gates, and handles. So many details you only notice when you allow yourself the time to truly take it all in. And let’s not forget… the food and the love of beautiful ingredients… ohhhhh!

It is exactly this blend of atmosphere that inspired our new collection, Le Bon Vivant. A French expression for someone who truly knows how to enjoy life. Both in the big, perfect moments - but certainly also in the small ones. A wonderful meal. A table filled with colors. A cup of coffee in the morning sun. A walk without a plan. The perfectly buttery croissant. A small moment that makes the day feel a little more alive. Sharing beautiful moments with wonderful people.

Le Bon Vivant is my love letter to Paris - and to the way this city simply fits me, filling me with joy, warmth, and deep gratitude for simply being alive. 

I look forward to showing you more very soon — and sharing little snippets of “my Paris.”
